It comes from the Kilimanjaro mountain area, the highest peak in Africa. It is a very fertile volcanic soil, and the coffee system and flavour are similar to Kenya.
The beans are round, and the high-quality round beans of Tanzania have an excellent aroma of creamy chocolate. Compared with many African coffees with floral and fruity characteristics, its rich fruit acid has an unexpectedly balanced taste.
The performance is intense. The proportion of round beans produced in coffee is about 3 to 5%, and the relative yield is relatively rare; because it is mainly distributed at the end of the coffee tree, it has a lower density but retains more sugar, resulting in a more decadent sweetness than ordinary coffee.
